Art is a facilitator of imagination and freedom of thought. Through it I find liberty to make my own visual associations with life and imagination. Working with mediums, I create my own version of reality through pictures.

I’m consumed with painting ideas, perhaps more accurately questions, inventing my own associations with colors and forms while painting. What does it mean to be alive in the universe as atoms and energy, ‘empty space and points of light‘ (winterson) ? Such riddles torment me and without words or numbers to explain, I translate them into a language that does not require a definite explanation - a visual expression. My truth.

In a world so preoccupied with what we can see, feel, prove and own, there is little room for true imagination. As much as I need to escape to that place within art making where I can create the vision of my imagination, I want to give people a visual space to breathe and invent. To remember what it was like to be a child and dream. To be free.
